EcoStar Laundry is intended for commercial use to replace the alkaline cleaners currently in use. It requires no special disposal treatment, and is a non-hazardous material. It works well with hot or cold wash or rinse and may be reused (saving both water and cleaner. It is environmentally friendly. Unlike most cleaners, ecoStar Laundry leaves a clean fresh smell to cloth instead of the oily odors repair industry customers have become accustomed to. EcoStar Laundry aids in the emulsification of oils and grease while helping to eliminate certain odors. There has been some success in the removal of some types of printing ink from cloth materials. By reducing the costs involved in treating for disposal of cleaners now used and by reducing water consumption, ecoStar Laundry can prove to be cost effective.
Mix ecoStar Laundry at a ratio of 5-1 with water (preferably non- chlorinated) and wash as usual (hot water is not necessary). Transfer cloth to rinse stage and save wash water (contaminants may be filtered out and product re-used). It is not necessary to acid treat wash water before disposal as is the case with other cleaners.
As a general rule, when wash material no longer produces suds when agitated, you will need to add more ecoStar Laundry in a sufficient quantity to produce desired sudsing. Number of times product may be re-used and ratio of mix depends upon types of material cleaned, method of cleaning, and degree of contamination.
